The coolness is in the air, the days are turning to night quicker and the red, orange and yellow leaves crunch under your feet as you walk to grab your Pumpkin Spice Latte. FALL IS HERE and I've said it before, I could not be happier. I've put together a few fall outfits that are dressed up enough for a Friday at work yet casual enough for a brunch date on Saturday.

I am throughly impressed by #forever21 time and time again. While some of their pieces may not be the BEST quality, their prices are nearly unbeatable and if you pick out the right item and treat it well, it can actually last a lot longer than you may think. For example, this sophisticated nude blouse is in seemingly perfect shape even though it is at least a year old (I still found it on their website and linked it on my LIKEtoKNOW.it profile!)
My favorite detail on this blouse is the neck tie. Tie it tight for one look and let hang loosely for a completely different one. The sleeve length is perfect, all the way down to the cuff which is closed by a small, pearl white button. The material is my only "warning" for you. It is fairly sheer so I recommend wearing a white or nude tank top underneath or at least a jacket you can keep on all day to remain compliant with your work's likely established dress code.
Speaking of jackets, I layered this blouse with a #whitehouseblackmarket crop blazer. The material on this reminds me of an athletic jacket is it is not structured at all which makes it comfortable to keep on all day long with minimal restrictions for arm use. My favorite detail on this jacket is definitely the gold zippers. It gives this outfit the "pop" it needs since there isn't room for a necklace with the tie blouse!
These jeans I will preach on day after day. #americaneaglejeans are my absolute favorite that I have tried so far! I usually go with the high rise jegging style and currently have the same pair in three different colors. I chose the dark wash for this outfit because it dresses it up a bit more than a light wash jean for work.
In addition to the gold zipper blazer I put some "pizazz" into this outfit by adding a fun shoe. I want to start off by saying that I LOVE Steve Madden however these shoes are very uncomfortable. On my LIKEtoKNOW.it profile I linked a few different pairs of leopard print flats to try out. If you go with Steve Madden's, please wear band-aids on your heels! As far as looks go, though a cute animal print shoe, or casual chunky or wedge heel is the perfect addition.
To finish this look off I incorporated my #MichaelKors satchel purse. I absolutely love large purses but I have found this smaller purse is still functional and fun to use when I don't need extra space for a day. I like a black handbag or purse for this look to tie in the blazer and shoes and round out the entire outfit.

This quick and easy yet elegant and cute outfit was a steel in $$ (minus the purse). This army green utility jacket from #forever21 is my favorite jacket that I currently own. It is light-weight so it's perfect for the beginning of fall. This jacket is a year old so I couldn't find the exact one on the Forever21 website however, I found a few others for around $25 that are very similar. I have also linked this entire outfit in my LIKEtoKNOW.it profile.
Regarding the purse, I clearly have an obsession with Michael Kors (what can I say? He's amazing!) The purse I just linked is a different purse than the one you see because the one you see is close to 5 years old and is not available anymore but I actually like the one I linked better! If you're sticking to a budget but want a similar look, try this Calvin Klein purse from Amazon or check out stores like Michael Kors Outlet, Target or TjMaxx!
The white sweater you see me wearing is a basic, Forever21 white, long sleeve V-neck sweater. They don't have this exact style available anymore but I really like this high-neck fuzzy ribbed sweater that I think would give the outfit an added layer of dimension! White sweaters are such a staple during this time of year so find a good one that you like because you can do so many different things with it through the winter as well!
The jeans...no surprise here, American Eagle! Here's the link to the pair I'm wearing which are a light wash, high rise jegging. The booties are (once again, I'm so sorry) not available any longer since they are so old. I'm working on updating my wardrobe but know that if I post something I am wearing that isn't available I will find one or two very similar alternatives for you! So, here are a pair of Steve Maddens on sale at Nordstroms for $77.96 and a budget-friendly option from Amazon!

Moving much closer to the "Casual" end of the spectrum is this adorable and extremely comfortable and affordable ensemble. The "main players" in this outfit were such steels so I'll give you the details!
Let's start with this absolutely adorable plaid scarf. I found this scarf on sale at Forever21 for $3 (sale racks are always worth the time). It is an oversized rectangle scarf with fringed edges and it is a flannel material. Here is a very similar one with a slightly different material that looks softer than mine and it's only $15!
This sweatshirt was a whopping $8.97 from Amazon. When I ordered this sweatshirt, I fully expected the material to be rough and uncomfortable because of the price but I was going to make it a cut off for the gym so it didn't really matter. To my surprise, when I opened the package (and even after I washed it) the inside is VERY soft (like a baby blanket) and the outside is a nice sweatshirt soft material (didn't get hard or "crunchy"). I 100% condone this sweatshirt purchase.
I have received a lot of compliments on these boots that I purchased last year from Famous Footwear. The brand is Cliffs and I found the exact pair on Amazon (they even have a grey option!). These boots are fairly affordable and extremely comfortable. The material on the back of the heel is so cute and makes them the perfect shoe to wear with sweatpants to get your takeout or to pair with jeans and a cute top for the pumpkin patch!
The sunglasses I am wearing are MauiJim unisex Aviators and the mug is a deep red Yeti. Both of these are high-end brands and are, in my opinion, worth the price. However, you can find budget-friendly items that are very similar to these in lots of places! Feel free to link any items you find below!
That's all for me, today. I have two very exciting collaborations coming up in the near future so stay tuned for discounts for you and extra cute clothes!!
I love you all SO MUCH!
xo,
Macy
